Applicant Criteria:

Be a graduating Smithfield High School senior accepted for the 2025-2026 school year to an accredited university, college, junior college, technical school, or other educational institution.
Be a resident of Smithfield (no less than one full year).
This scholarship IS NOT based on GPA.

The number and amount of scholarships will be determined each year by the Board of Directors of the Jay G. Lawrence Foundation. The recipients of this scholarship will be determined by a blind selection process. Applications must be submitted by Friday April 25, 2025.
